![]() The Boardroom The heritage-listed boardroom located on the 11th floor of the Manchester Unity Building is recognized as one of the most intact art deco boardrooms in the world. Recently refurbished, the space has retained all of its original character and charm, including the Queensland maple timber wall panelling and ornamental plaster ceiling. A 20 ft x 6 ft (6 m x 1.8 m) Queensland maple and Indian rosewood inlaid boardroom table is topped with a single sheet of Lalique glass imported from Paris and is complemented by 12 original armchairs embossed with the Manchester Unity insignia. Facilities include remote electric blinds, a catering kitchen with Smeg oven and cooktop, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and urn.
The boardroom table can seat 12 with original armchairs and up to 28 with modern function chairs.
